Hi! I’m Doug.

I’m a transportation professional and public servant working to improve the customer experience at North America’s largest transportation system, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Before joining the MTA, I worked in academic publishing and journalism. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in History from Stony Brook University and a Master of Liberal Arts in Digital Media Design from Harvard Extension School, and am currently a graduate student in the Master of Sustainable Transportation program in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Washington.
